Site-specific study on space, time and surfaces
MATERIALS / MEDIA / TECHNICS
1 x 8000 AINSI Lumen projector, 1 x 5000 AINSI Lumen projector, projection based on animated prints on paper, projected on glass, walls and the leftovers of daily life like threads, tissue, coat hangers, moved by the wind.
GUIDING INTEREST
Anna Rosa Rupp: The guiding interest for the work was to find a certain place / space in Houmt Souk which could evoke a different feeling of space by merging it with a projected moving surface. By working with the environment it was a trial to point out a kind of poetry surroundings, situations (in daily life) can have with its own ambience and narration by observing the structures, little details in the composition of its whole. The light of the projection changes the surface of the ground, it is mixed with the another reality – how does light change the impression of a space?
